What is the difference between HPL and CPL laminate? The difference between HPL and CPL laminate lies in the top layer. HPL laminate is made in a relatively long production process, under high pressure. This makes the top layer thicker and stronger.

MexForm is characterized by its minimal material thickness and is suitable for both closed and open stairs with treads up to 364 cm wide. The core consists of high-quality, 10 mm thick MDF/HDF which is provided with a CPL top layer. This CPL top layer has a thickness of 0.6 mm and features an anti-slip and AC4 wear resistance rating.
